During our family vacation at Bjarkalundur, we had a delightful stay in a cozy cabin that felt like a warm embrace from the Icelandic chill. Although the beds were a tad firm, the overall cleanliness and tranquility of the place made up for any minor inconveniences. Our kids, aged 9 and 12, were thrilled to explore the campsite nestled on a grassy field beside a babbling stream - a scene straight out of a fairytale. One particular evening, we gathered in the lounge for some quality family time, surrounded by board games and books that piqued the imagination of young and old alike. With a good Wi-Fi connection, we were able to stay connected to the outside world while still immersing ourselves in the stunning natural beauty that surrounded us. the welcoming staff's gesture of upgrading our room without us even asking exemplified their genuine hospitality, making us feel truly at home in this remote paradise. A family-friendly haven indeed, perfect for creating lasting memories amidst Iceland's rugged landscapes.
